Well, I learned why today is called 'black friday'. I guess it is the day that retailer's hope to get out of the red and into the black as far as sales and that the sales numbers for today are an indication of how the holiday shopping is going to be for the season.
Today, no shopping done by anyone from my house. Caribou and knitting for Marissa and I along with some friends. Finished up a pair of mittens today and over 50% on a wallaby sweater. Marissa worked on a hat for a friend - got quite a bit done. Pat put up some 'hanging' stuff at home, including the towel holder and tp holder for the basement bathroom (been sitting around for over a year). Gunnar continued his quest to clean his room (wish Marissa would start that project).
Hope the stores got what they needed, our Christmas will be a little less this year, but that is really a good thing.
