STOP THE PRESSES!

It is a miracle here at our house - something that has happened rarely (so it seems) this summer. All 5 of us are home today! Yes, I said 5 - Mocha counts - even she has had the a long day away this summer for veterinary reasons.

M returned home from her missions trip late last night. Though exhausted, we did get a few stories from her. We were also given strict orders not to wake her up this morning until she got up on her own. We had the last laugh there - her body has gotten used to getting up earlier so this morning she was up before ME! Now she says that to continue resting her body, she is calling for a movie day on the couch.

G came home from a sleep-over at 7:30am this morning - something about a dentist appointment that had been forgotten. He didn't seem to mind, spent some time with big sis watching a movie (he does miss her when she is gone) and is now outside playing. What he doesn't realize is that he will be early today because he has to finish packing. He leaves tomorrow for a week at camp.

Pat and I are here too. A few errands to run, but otherwise, not much on the official agenda. Probably mowing, groceries, bills, herding kids and dog, etc. Notice that house cleaning didn't make the list - we have actually been keeping up on that task and so there isn't any BIG need to pick up after a week or three of being lazy.

Once I get everyone in the same room today, I am hoping to gather some pictures to update this blog. M has had her hair cut recently, Mocha too and Pat is off currently doing that same thing. As for G - he is just GROWING! Me, well, someone thought I had looked like I was shrinking, but I will probably be behind the camera - HAH!

  1. Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear M's trip was fruitful. I pray for the same for G.

    How's job search going?

    Peace,
    M (I don't have a proper id to comment)
