Anyone remember the Alfred Hitchcock movie? It was the creepiest movie I ever saw as a kid. This morning, I awoke to what sounded like thousands of birds outside. The sun was out, the snow sparkling and there were birds everywhere! They seemed to be competing as to who got to eat the crab apples off of 3 trees. Swoop in grab an apple or perch for a second then get bumped by the next bird attempting to get at the tree. It was kinda cool - but VERY loud.
I am going to blame being awakened by this noise for the fact that I was a 'blonde wanna be' this morning. I couldn't find anything and was late for everything that had a start date before noon. I am home now, with no plans on leaving. I don't think I can be late for bed?
(p.s. the color orange brings to mind craziness for me)
One year we had flocks of Robins eating the crabapples off the ground. And getting drunk.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite a sight to see.
I had the same thought this morning about all the birds! They were everywhere and making such a racket. Maybe it's because you are three doors down from me we experienced the same thing today! And yes, that movie scared the bajeebies out of me as a kid. I saw the movie again not too long ago and it made me laugh it was so cheesy!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a more "on time" day tomorrow.
one very scary movie indeed! Though I like his Marnee... Hope I spelt that right...
ReplyDeleteWe used to live in a migration pathway. My cousin wouldn't visit during migration because of that movie!! It really did look like a scene from the movie!! :D Carla
ReplyDeleteThat movie creeped me out too, and not only as a child!! Wonderfully well made, though :)
