Day 1 of 2008

I have made it to another year! Yeah God!
So as for my resolutions, so far so good. I even got a jump start on the bible reading - started on 12/31.
Today I photographed most of my 2007 knitting projects. I even labled them with pattern, yarn, etc. in my "Memory Manager". Sorry was to lazy to add all that information here - feel free to ask me for them if you have an interest. Below are a few of the items. I will post more tomorrow and so on until I have them all up here to view.

Bibs, Bibs, Bibs - most of these were donated to Medtronic Warm Hearts where they will be donated along with a matching cash amount.

My first fingerless mitts. This was made with some sale yarn my dd picked out. I knit (stocking net) a rectangle to fit around her wrist and then sewed them up, leaving a gap in the seam for the thumb hole. VERY EASY!

For my second attempt at fingerless mitts, I made this mock cable pair.
The thumb was new for me as well as the mock cable pattern. I kept these for myself!

And for those who feel the need to wear their flip flops year round...
